How To Make Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies
All righty, this may be the shortest blog I’ve ever written. Full disclosure, I’m sure there are a ton of recipes out there for this…because everyone loves them. I learned this recipe from my Grandma Carol, and I have made it every year since she taught it to me in college. They’re hecka easy #only3ingredients! I have never written the recipe down, and you probably won’t need to either. Also, Cheetos are not an ingredient…they’re just my favorite snack.
Ingredients For Easy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 package spice cake mix
15 ounce can pumpkin PUREE (not pumpkin pie filling)
16 ounce bag chocolate chips…or more…just follow your heart 🥰
How To Bake Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies
Mix your spice cake mix and pumpkin puree together, make sure to get all your cake mix (especially the stuff hiding at the bottom) mixed in. Dump in the chocolate chips…I’ve always fantasized about adding little heath bar pieces, but never have…so if you add heath bar pieces, make sure to comment below and let me know how it turned out.
3-Ingredient Pumpkin Cookies
Place dollops of cookie dough on a baking dish (I use a liner because they tend to stick). I just use a big silver spoon to scoop out the dollops. More seasoned cooks than me seem to make many, many small cookies. I hate small cookies…because they’re so small. So, follow your heart with sizing, they' don’t grow much in the oven…so whatever size the cookie dough dollop, will be the size of your cookie. Bake for 16 minutes at 350 degrees F. !
I always double the recipe and make extra. I love these frozen…may be weird, but it’s really good.
